What happens if I break a rule?
The account is closed automatically and you receive an email with the reason. On Challenge Rapid and Challenge Steady you can reset instantly and start again.

Every rule is monitored automatically and in real time. If a rule is broken, the account is closed by the system — no manual review, no delay.
Which rules close the account
- Max Drawdown (end of day): your end-of-day balance falls below the drawdown level. This is the only rule that closes an account on its own.
- Prohibited trading practices: sharing or managing accounts, copying trades from third parties, exploiting data errors or latency, or any activity described in the Terms of Use.
Which rules do not close the account
- Daily Loss Limit (soft): trading pauses for the rest of the session only.
- Consistency rule: delays the pass or payout until your results are spread more evenly.
- Max contracts: orders above the limit are simply rejected by the platform.
What happens when the account is closed
- Open positions are flattened and the account is set to Lost (challenge) or Closed (Funded / Fty Direct).
- You receive an email with the exact reason and the figures that triggered it.
- Your dashboard shows the account as closed with the full history, so you can review what happened.
- On a Funded account, any payout already approved is still paid.
Starting again
- Challenge Rapid and Challenge Steady: reset instantly from your dashboard. The new account keeps your number with a -1 suffix and starts fresh with the full balance. Rapid resets cost $25; Steady resets depend on the size.
- Funded account: a closed Funded account cannot be reset. You can start a new challenge at any time.
- Fty Direct: a closed Fty Direct account cannot be reset. You can purchase a new one at any time.
