How do I verify my identity (KYC)?

KYC (Know Your Customer) is a one-time identity check you complete before your first payout. It confirms you are who you say you are and that your payout goes to the right person.

What you need

• A valid government-issued ID: passport, national ID card or driving licence.
• A phone or webcam for a quick selfie.
• Good lighting and a clear, unedited photo of your document.

Step by step

1. Go to Settings.
2. Select KYC.
3. Click Start verification.
4. Choose your document type and country, then upload or photograph your ID — make sure all four corners and the text are clearly visible.
5. Take a quick selfie when prompted.
6. Submit. Verification takes about 2–3 minutes.

Tips for a smooth verification

• Use the original document, not a photocopy or a photo of a screen.
• Make sure the name and date of birth match your Ftytrade profile.
• Avoid glare and blurry images.

When to do it

Complete your KYC early — right after you get funded — so nothing slows down your first payout once you are above the Safety Net.

If it is not approved

You can retry from Settings. If it keeps failing, contact our support team and they will help you complete it.
